The City of Atlanta has initiated a comprehensive project to develop Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) for each of its individual agencies to ensure Continuity of Government (COG).

The City of Atlanta has selected BOLDplanning's Continuity of Operations Planning system to assist in the creation of its COOP plans and ongoing plan development. COOPAtlanta.com is a web-based planning tool, designed to guide government agencies through the process of developing Continuity of Operations Plans. The BOLDplanning system walks planners through each step of the planning process and helps develop a COOP that outlines a clear, concise understanding of roles and responsibilities needed to ensure an agency's transition during times of change in normal operation.

For this project, the BOLDplanning system has been modified to meet the specific needs of the City of Atlanta. It is accessed via the internet at COOPAtlanta.com for this city-wide planning process.
